We are open and excited to welcome you into the studio for in person creating! Please make a reservation below before arriving. Each table reservation can seat up to 6 people, or one to two people working on one pottery wheel. Any group over 6 people is considered a private open studio event, please contact us at [email protected] or give us a call to schedule your larger group.
Having reserved times allows for less people arriving at a given time and gives our staff time to set up your space, sanitize, and help support your art projects.
Your $15 deposits will be applied to the total cost of your visit at checkout. The cost of your visit will depend on your chosen activities, which can be viewed individually below. Students are welcome to stay in studio for longer than 1 hour if space is available.
If you need to reschedule your reservation please do so at least 24 hours in advance by following your reservation confirmation email directions. The $15 deposit is non-refundable for last minute cancellations.

Studio Hours
Open to the Public by reservation

Monday - Friday 2:00 - 7:00 pm
Saturday - Sunday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Open to students 2+, open studio hours at Redmond Art Works give you the space to let your creativity run wild. Work in our ceramic area, pottery painting, succulent gardens, or kids crafting area. We supply the materials and tools for you to come in for a fun outing with your family, after a long day at work, or a fun date night.


Pottery Painting

Available for all ages
(Parents must stay with student ages 8 and under)

We have a selection of 100+ items to choose from! Pieces are priced individually and include all glaze (paint) and firing costs

Prices range from $12 - $40

Artwork is ready to be picked up 1 week from painting

Painting (Glazing) of ceramic pieces created by students can be glazed during open studio for the $15 per hour rate. This includes all glazes and firing costs.


Kids Crafting

Available for all ages

(Parents must stay with student ages 8 and under)

Ceramics Hand Building
Available for all ages
(Parents must stay with student ages 8 and under)
Purchase clay by the pound (*additional cost), our open studio teacher will take you through the basic rules and tricks of hand building with clay so you can create a sculpture, figure, tableware - really anything your imagination can come up with!
* Please note building with clay is a two visit activity -
1. Make your pieces.
2. Leave with us for 10 days to be fired.
3. Return for a second open studio visit within the month created to glaze (paint).
4. We will fire your pieces a 2nd final time before pickup 10 days after glazing!


Pottery Wheel Use
Ages 8 and Above
Pottery Wheel Use - Students must have prior instruction at the studio before using wheels

$15 hourly rates includes:

Entire ceramic area including pottery wheels, tables, and an assortment of tools

Low Fire stable and non-stable glazes

Pottery Wheel Use - Students are encouraged to enroll in a semi-private or adult pottery class in the studio before using wheels independently (please see below for options)

Clay Prices:
3 lbs - $10 7lbs - $15 11lbs - $20 25lbs - $35
Cost of clay + open studio hourly rate - includes the firing fee cost
