Paint happy little trees with Ms.Yatsze, we will explore Bob Ross's signature techniques and processes. We will complete a beautiful NW landscape painting step by step to build confidence. Then we will each create our own original landscape using our newly learned quick and fun Bob Ross techniques.

Pet Portraits Wkshop

Join us for a pet portrait class using real furry friends! We will begin our time together learning about pets face and body structure, then use real dogs for some fun quick sketching and source images. We'll use our pet pictures to create one final work of art on canvas. Students are welcome to bring in pet pictures for inspiration or use our studio dogs Clay and Potter!

Fluid Art Wkshop

We're talking resin and acrylic dripping, brushwork, pallet knife techniques, and pouring on canvas, metal, and wood. This is not your average painting class -sure to be a messy workshop you will not forget!

Painting in the Park Wkshop

Join us in the sun and fresh air at Marymoor park for painting lessons! Learn like the impressionist painters did by taking the paints outside the studio to paint from real life. Students will learn about En plein air painting and the techniques impressionist artists used to capture the scenery onto their page. Drop off and pick up will take place at Redmond Art Works.

Acrylic Painting Wkshop

Learn how to paint with acrylics! Students will develop their painting skills while creating a variety of paintings including landscapes, still lifes, and expressive portraits. We will spend our time discussing color theory, color mixing, shading, layering, and brush technique as we work on multiple canvas paintings.

Abstract Painting Wkshop

Explore all the exciting possibilities of self-expression through abstract painting! We will explore acrylic pour painting, splatter painting, and a variety of exciting process art methods using unconventional materials. We will explore the abstraction of all elements of art, from color, to shapes, textures, and concepts. Students will experiment with a variety of materials and methods allowing the to develop an understanding of the physical properties of paint and the expressive possibilities of abstraction.
