Art Discovery Art Discovery

Ages 4 - 9

Be introduced to multiple art mediums in this combination class. Teachers pull from students natural curiosity and interests as they paint, draw, build with clay, and try out numerous art mediums each week. Art Discovery is our most highly recommended class for our new young artists! 60 min

FUNdamental Drawing FUNdamental Drawing

Ages 6 - 7

This class teaches the skills needed to put young artists imagined ideas to paper using basic shapes and lines. Great for building hand eye coordination, dexterity, and the skill set needed to move into our more complex drawing classes. 60 min

2D Foundations 2D Foundations

Ages 8 - 16

Prerequisite to all beginner and advanced 2D courses
Attend an
8 week course - or - 2-day weekend workshop before enrolling in Level 1 & Advanced Courses

Students expand their understanding of drawing and painting concepts by learning about shape and form, light and shadow, perspective, color theory, and composition. 60 min

Creative Toddler Creative Toddler

Target Ages 16mo - 4 years + caregiver
Jump into seasonal themed art stations each week -created for toddlers and their caregivers to get messy and make art together! Set the foundation for your young artist's growth and build confidence as they explore new art materials and make new little friends.
Offered: Wednesdays 4:15 - 5:30
Thursdays 10:00am - 11:15am

Students should plan to stay 45 minutes within class time frame to complete art stations! Siblings less than one year old are free to attend, older siblings can attend with their own ticket

Ceramic Hand Building Ceramic Hand Building

Ages 4 - 8

Students will learn beginning clay hand building techniques and principles of slab, coil, surface design, glazing, and firing to create one of a kind artwork including figures, cups, and seasonal projects tailored to students interests.

Ages 8 - 16

Students practice and build upon the fundamental drawing techniques and skills; observation, usage of materials, space, shading, colors, and lighting to help portray their thoughts and ideas through their artwork. A fantastic class for beginners and students looking to hone their artistic skills. 60 min

Comic Art 1 Comic Art 1

Ages 8 - 16

Students will create a one-shot (mini) comic as they learn the fundamentals of visual storytelling: story structure, outlining and storyboarding a comic, inking and coloring techniques, and lettering. New classes begin the first week of every month. 60 min

Character Design 1 Character Design 1

Ages 8 - 16

Students begin their journey by learning the fundamentals of character design; exploring basic anatomy, shape language, cartooning principles, and character staging. New classes begin the first week of every month. 60 min

Painting 1 Painting 1

Ages 8 - 16
Focusing on elements of line, shape, color, and value while discovering students personal artistic style. Students will be taught skills and technique unique to multiple paint mediums, giving them control over their chosen medium and allowing them to fully express their creative vision. 60 min

Community Art Community Art

Ages 14 - 18

Created specifically for high school aged students to come together, make art, and impact their community. Each week students will implement their own creative style and skill sets to make collaborative projects with peers. No prior art experience necessary. 90 min

Pottery Forms Pottery Forms

Ages 8 - 16

Enter the exciting world of functional and sculptural pottery as students learn fundamentals of working with clay. Using the pottery wheel and hand building, we will make decorative figures and functional items such as plates and bowls. Students will have a demonstration of new skills each class and structured work time to create their own ideas with instructor support. 75 min

Advanced Drawing Advanced Drawing

Ages 8 - 16

Humans are one of the most complex forms to draw, learn the proportions and anatomy of the human figure through expressive gestures and detailed portraits. We will use images, poseable figures, and ourselves to further our abilities and knowledge of the figure. 60 min

Advanced Comic Art Advanced Comic Art

Ages 8 - 16

Students extend their visual storytelling journey by studying different kinds of comics, including Eastern styles (manga & manhwa), creating 1-page themed comics, practicing different visual storytelling methods, and exploring their own voice as a comic artist. 60 min

Students extend their practice by participating in weekly design challenges and artist studies as students hone their personal artistic style and skill sets. 60 min

Adult Ceramics Adult Ceramics

Ages 16 +

Treat yourself with this weekly class covering throwing and slab techniques that display clay material's best qualities. We’ll work with various altering techniques and additions of slabs, handles, and spouts to create an assortment of functional forms from the potters wheel to hand building. Bring your project ideas! Includes all necessary tools and 11 lbs of clay each month. Beginning and advanced potters welcome. 2 hrs

Extend practice through still life paintings, collage, and portraiture. Discussing color, mixing, and layering as we work on stills and pieces based on collage, them move into large canvas portraits. 60 min

Fiber Art Fiber Art

Ages 8 - 16

Create one of a kind characters and sculptures through felting, weaving, crochet, and yarn craft. You will learn to sculpt in fiber, roving felt into shapes and forms to produce anything you can imagine, from favorite characters to animals or other fantastic creatures and seasonal pieces. 60 min

Cartooning: The Basics and Beyond... Cartooning: The Basics and Beyond...

Ages 8 - 16
Create zany cartoon characters to drop into a story or just make a statement. We will distort, exaggerate, embellish, add action, drama and humor. Fledgling cartoonists will learn the basics of expression drawing, line quality, constructing from the imagination and exaggerating from life, while exploring moods and animating actions. Media will include pencil, paper, markers, and ink. 60 min.

Elevated Arts Elevated Arts

Ages 8 - 16
Take control of the entire artistic process by combining science with art - elevating your artistic understanding of 2D & 3D principles. Students will increase their confidence, grow as an artist, and make their own artistic decisions with guidance as they make craft projects in all mediums; including but not limited to painting, fiber art, and sketching. 60 min.

Digital Art Digital Art

Ages 8 - 16
Our new digital creation class will teach you all the basics of Procreate & other app based creation on the iPad. Understand how to use the vast toolkit such as layers, brushes, color wheels, and perspective available to you in the Procreate application. Leave class with a better understanding of digital painting and portraiture. iPad, pen, & Procreate provided by studio for each student to use during class, if you have your own Procreate setup from home, you are welcome to bring it too! 60 min

Neuro Diverse Clay Universe Neuro Diverse Clay Universe

Ages 8 - 16

Designed for students to be able to explore, celebrate, and express how they belong in a neurologically diverse world. Students will be using clay, hand building and the wheel to express their unique brains through projects with a neurodiversity scope. ALL students are welcome, whether they identify as neurodivergent, neurotypical or have no idea what that means. Join teachers Nathan and Emma and one another to embrace how each of our brains, creativity work in a way that is as unique as we are. 60 min

Portfolio Building Portfolio Building

High School
Take the next step in your artistic journey by creating a portfolio! Whether your teen wishes to show their work in galleries, apply to higher arts education, find an arts-related job, or simply complete and display a cohesive body of work; this class will support students in creating a portfolio that will help them realize their goals and ambitions. Each student's artwork and journey is unique; so instructors will work with each student individually to help guide students as they create a portfolio that represents their artistic identity. All mediums are welcome.
