Neuro Boxes
This workshop is designed to celebrate neurodiversity and give students a chance to express how, "their brains work" through artistic expression. We will be making lidded ceramic boxes designing each side with textures, forms, symbols and more to help show how each of our students brains work, think, and are uniquely beautiful!!! This class is for anyone and everyone! Neurodiversity is a term that is used to describe the differences in the ways people's brains work. And there is no "correct" way for our brains to work, there is no "wrong way" either. This is an important part of this class to show that all students and all participants have a safe place to express how they see their brain and have visual meaning for them. And when these are finished students will have a box that holds meaning both figuratively and literally.

Wonky Pot Wkshop
Focusing on thrown vessels with a twist, literally! Sometimes it can be hard to make a perfectly uniform piece on the wheel. Even when that is achieved it can sometimes be missing something. So, let's embrace the “wonky” pot! We will be focusing on altering thrown forms to make intentional dents, twists, waves, dimples and other textures. We will use all sorts of tools, and unconventional items like, rope, stamps, sticks, and much more to make some awesome wonky pots!!! **Students must attend an intro to wheel class prior to attending this Level 2 course.
