Wkshop Botanical Pottery Th-Fri Jan, 2-3 Wkshop Botanical Pottery Th-Fri Jan, 2-3

Students will use slabs of clay to create their choice of
functional dinnerware pieces. We will add impressions to clay using fresh
seasonal botanicals with a focus on balance and composition. Students will also
be instructed in how to apply underglaze to make designs really pop before
going into the kiln for their two firings!

Make fun decor for the holidays with our mixed media extraordinaire Annie! Create a lasting hanging mobile with individual pendants. Students will use air-dry clay to create pendants, cinnamon sticks, pinecones, acorns and leaves to make a beautiful decoration that also smells amazing.

Wkshop Procreate Fri Dec, 27 Wkshop Procreate Fri Dec, 27

Our new digital creation workshop will teach you all the basics of Procreate on the iPad. Understand how to use the vast toolkit such as layers, brushes, color wheels, and perspective available to you in the Procreate application. Leave class with a better understanding of digital painting and a portraiture. iPad, pen, & Procreate provided by studio for each student to use during class, if you have your own Procreate setup from home, you are welcome to bring it!

Humans are one of the most complex forms to draw, so join us to learn the proportions and anatomy of the human figure through expressive gestures and detailed portraits. We will use images, poseable figures, and ourselves to further our abilities and knowledge of the figure. Students will come home with a new notebook filled with work and ideas to continue practicing.

Cancelation Policy - Reservation changes or cancelations made at least 5 days before start of program will receive studio credit for 100% of tuition paid. Reservation changes or cancelations made within 4 days of programs start will not receive studio credit unless student’s space can be filled. * For example: We must be notified by Wednesday if your child is scheduled for programming the following Monday to receive full studio credit. We do not provide refunds back to your payment card.
