4 Day Workshop
2 days a week for two consecutive weeks
Specialty Multi-Firing Workshop! During the first two days students will make multiple ceramic pieces hand built and on the wheel - focusing on form and thoughtful design.
Students will come back together the following week for two days of glazing and participating in the final firing of their pieces using barrels and our outside Raku kiln. Raku firing is a fast paced and exhilarating low-fire pottery technique that produces magically shiny items. Barrel firing is a primitive firing technique that produces magically unpredictable artwork!
All student pieces can be taken home the day of final firing, students MUST be at least 9 years old to attend this workshop.
